Wisdom from Thomas Jefferson applies today

Prophetic statements by one of our founding fathers, Thomas Jefferson :

1. When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, weshall become as corrupt as Europe. ~ Thomas Jefferson

2. The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who arewilling to work, and give to those who would not. ~ Thomas Jefferson

3. It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. Aprinciple which if acted on, would save one-half the wars of the world. ~ Thomas Jefferson

4. I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent thegovernment from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense oftaking care of them. ~ Thomas Jefferson

5. My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results fromtoo much government. ~ Thomas Jefferson

6. No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. ~ Thomas Jefferson

7. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and beararms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny ingovernment. ~ Thomas Jefferson

8. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood ofpatriots and tyrants. ~ Thomas Jefferson

9. To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideaswhich he disbelieves and abhors, is sinful and tyrannical. ~ ThomasJefferson

10. In light of the present financial crisis, it's now very interesting toread what Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our libertiesthan standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks tocontrol the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprivethe people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on thecontinent their fathers conquered."

Tom, old boy, you must be spinning around in your grave!

A trillion here, a trillion there . . .

Be thankful today. It's Thanksgiving.

Illinois Senator Everett Dirkson was famous for his famous quote, “A million here, a million there, sooner or later it adds up to real money.” That's when a 12-ounce bottle of Coke cost 5-cents. In recent years, he was paraphrased using "billion" instead of "million." After the $700 bailout has morphed into $8.5 trillion and counting, we can't even comprehend the numbers any more. The amounts are so staggering as to be beyond shock.

A Citigroup analyst recently joined the Chicken-Littles with his prediction that gold would rise to at least $2,000 as soon as next year (6 weeks?) in response to the unprecedented fiat money created by central banks to deal with the worldwide financial collapse. "The world is not going back to normal after the magnitude of what they have done. When the dust settles this will either work, and the money they have pushed into the system will feed though into an inflation shock. Or it will not work because too much damage has already been done, and we will see continued financial deterioration, causing further economic deterioration, with the risk of a feedback loop." China, Saudi Arabia and others are making, or talking about, massive gold purchases to preserve their wealth.

I'm sure the terrorist actions in Mumbai will be blamed on the ever-present "Data Base," better known to most of us as Al Qaeda or Al CIAda. Or Pakistan. Or maybe not. Hmm. So will we now have official reasons to attack Pakistan? Seems like most high-profile "terrorist" attacks lately turn out to be false flag operations designed for other purposes. As this story unfolds, remember the real action is the reaction. Ask "who benefits?" from the response to the Mumbai attacks.

ObamaWatch: The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Obama's retention of Robert Gates as Secretary of Defense promises the continued support and development of a military regime in the US. As reported earlier, the appointment of Rahm Emanuel means continued domination by Israel in foreign policy.

Wednesday, November 26

Ralph Nader presciently writes about The Third Clinton Administration. "The signs are amassing that Barack Obama put a political con job over on the American people. He is now daily buying into the entrenched military-industrial complex that President Eisenhower warned Americans about in his farewell address. With Robert Rubin on his side during his first photo opportunity after the election, he signaled to Wall Street that his vote for the $750 billion bailout of those speculators and crooks was no fluke (Rubin was Clinton’s financial deregulation architect in 1999 as Secretary of the Treasury before he became one of the hugely paid co-directors tanking Citigroup.)" Is Obama trying to reconstruct the economy on a base of sand?

Robert Scheer agrees that Obama sided with Wall Street instead of Main Street. Previously he had engaged Nader in vigorous debate against this idea. Hopefully reality will awaken more Obama zealots that it did with Bush zealots.

My biggest concern about Obama is not a third incarnation of the Clinton administration (though it will be much worse without any effective Republican opposition). It is the parallels with Germany of the 1930's and where that led. We're in 1932-33 now. Others agree. A big push for so-called "hate crimes" legislation is an ominous sign. Laws against "hate speech" will follow. That's just the beginning of his add-ons to the Bush police state.

Still very, very puzzling that the MainStreamMedia is ignoring the story questioning Obama's actual legal status to be President. (The Christian Science Monitor seems to be an exception.) OK, so it isn't puzzling. Not because the story is not valid, but because the term "MainStreamMedia" says it all. Our "free" media is no more free on the big questions than the obviously state-controlled media in Russia, China and elsewhere. It is the same reason why Ron Paul can't get any traction in the media, and Obama can seemingly come from nowhere to get elected. One lawyer promises to file a lawsuit against all Obama directives until the citizenship issue is resolved.

Justin Raimondo writes about the remarkable connection between "The Bailout, the Media, and the War Party." GE, which owns NBC and MSNBC among others, is now a bailout recipient. GE also produces expensive military weapons systems. Will they bite the hand that feeds them? "With the government in control of the commanding heights of the American economy – the financial sector, which, like GE, has its tentacles wrapped around the communications industry – the difference between private and state-controlled media is near abolition. . . . If the government is now buying "shares" in the corporate owners of the major news outlets, then how close are we to some place like Russia, for instance, where the line between economy and state hardly exists and the major media dutifully spout the Kremlin line?"

The US Government has now pledged at least $7.7 trillion to bail out the economy. They might toss a bone to actual consumers instead of powerful banks and corporations. Obama's financial appointments are full of foxes guarding the hen house. The massive looting of America at the highest levels will continue. Where's that money coming from? Is it any wonder that books on the Weimar Republic are popular right now in Washington? Hyperinflation is cooked into the economy now. Prepare for it.

You might want to see a comparison of the bailout to other famous big budget expenditures in US history. Jim Rogers believes that devaluation of the dollar is policy, that the fear-based dollar rally will end shortly after the new year, and that commodities are the best buys for money.

Speaking of bailouts, why is Ford asking for one when they can produce cars at plants like this one in rural Brazil?

A leading Russian financial analyst sees the decline and financial collapse in the US leading to a breakup of the country into at least six regions. Within a year or two he sees the Amero replacing the dollar. Apparently, the financial system came close to collapsing on November 21, when Citigroup was effectively nationalized. We may well see a bank "holiday" shortly after Obama is inaugurated, if not before. Be sure to keep a month's worth of cash stashed.

With all this increasing socialism abounding, let's not forget that it was socialism and communism among the early Puritans that left them starving. It was the switch to capitalism that saved them. It seems that incentives work better than good intentions.

Last Saturday the first nationwide "End the Fed" rallies were held in 39 different states. Fiat money really is the root of all evil. I was priveleged to speak at the Oklahoma City rally. See here , here, here, and here.

For something interesting and off-beat, check out "Giants of the Old World." And it has long been discussed whether mammograms actually promote breast cancer. Worth thinking about.

This is no time to stick your head in the sand.

Many of the people I deal with on a personal level are in denial that the economy if falling off a cliff. I hear many people who say "I disagree with you," but give absolutely no backing for their belief. The truth is, they just don't want to believe that we're headed into the abyss. I don't blame them. It isn't pleasant to think about.

Contrary to what they think, I get no pleasure at all in making my forecasts or in being a "doom and gloomer." I'm just passing on what I see in hopes that they might make preparations. We will fair far better as a society the better prepared we are. Those who are prepared can help those who aren't, and can keep their heads better in time of crisis. The more people we can keep out of food lines, the better.

It still looks like a hyperinflationary depression to me. Stephen Lindeman gives a long, long list of reasons why we're headed toward "an unstoppable economic breakdown." If you read it, you'll see why unprecedented tough times are ahead.

Please take a daily look at Jim Sinclair's website. Today he showed why hyperinflation is on the way. Saturday he gave practical steps to avoid personal financial destruction. He first published "This is it" last spring. He could see what was happening. Do nothing and watch your investments dwindle.

Many people are confused about the disconnect between the price of "paper" gold based on futures contracts and the price of physical gold, which is extremely hard to get, especially in coin form. The resulting confusion has caused paralysis and procrastination and kept some people from protecting their assets with gold. This article helps explain the reason and gives links to help monitor the actual price gold is selling for on eBay. If you plan to buy, do it now. You will NOT be able to time the market. By the time you think the market has turned, the price will be exploding up.

New World Order as Global Financial Matrix Self Destructs is an extremely interesting read. Follow it with Catherine Austin Fitts' analysis of the G-20 meeting a few weeks ago. "The net result will be to continue to exercise growing control over the real economy by a handful of private families and institutions designed to protect and grow intergenerational wealth. G-20 are silent on the military and covert action that will be required to make this stick. They are also silent on how they are going to manage this much inflation."

Ron Paul warns of a "great shift to global government" under Obama. (Paul still has the best grasp of the economic policies needed to keep a free and prosperous country. George Bush laid the groundwork. Many, like British PM Gordon Brown, are now openly calling for and discussing the "New World Order."

The oil price collapse in creating great geopolitical stability. Pay attention. Enjoy the low gas prices while they last.

A big part of the enormous problem we have with grappling with our problems is, frankly, the ignorance of many people. I don't say this in any kind of condescending or holier than thou way. I just find that few people are able to carry on an intelligent discussion about political or economic principles, whether from a conservative or liberal viewpoint. The previously discussed hypnosis techniques used by Barack Obama underline this situation. Far too many people are swayed by the images and emotions engendered by sophisticated propaganda. Bush, of course, used them effectively, too. Contrary to this article, I'd say that even many "educated" people fall into this category. Make a vow not to be one of them.

Since I'm going to be away from home for the holidays, I may be posting without sending out emails. Rather than do longer articles on single topics, I may just start picking out some of the sign posts I see daily. If I do that, I'll be able to stay on top of things more currently. So check back every so often. I hope you find my efforts helpful.

Financial Tsunami Still Unfolding

I wish I could report that it appears the worst is over for the economy. It is not. That bad news continues to unfold, with the summer of 2009 shaping up to fulfill "summer from hell" prediction of the time monks at HalfPastHuman.

As confirmation, the Global Europe Anticipation Bulletin (GEAB) has recently predicted that this summer would see Phase IV of the global systemic crisis with Breakdown of the Global Monetary System. A few weeks earlier, they forecast that the United States would default on it debt in the same time period. (Merrill Lynch reports America will soon lose its AAA credit rating.) Lest you wonder about the validity of their forecasts, in February 2008 they predicted that September would mark the breakdown of the US economy. Read all three of these summaries to to appreciate the magnitude of the worldwide financial crisis.

Gerald Celente, CEO of Trends Research Institute, is one of America's most famous trends forecasters. He predicted the stock market crash of 1987, the fall of the Soviet Union, gourmet coffees, etc. He "says that by 2012 America will become an undeveloped nation, that there will be a revolution marked by food riots, squatter rebellions, tax revolt and job marches, and that holidays will be more about obtaining food, not gifts." See his video here.

Paul Farrell, who predicted the crash and the sub-prime meltdown, has listed 30 reasons why we will have a second Great Depression by 2011. (Ed Roubini lists only 20 reasons if you want a more optimistic assessment.) The US dollar is in a temporary rally that will not last. Soon it will collapse, along with the global credit markets. Three megatrends driving the collapse are: falling tax revenues, rapidly increasing US debt and liabilities, and a corresponding reluctance of foreign countries to buy US debt. Hyperstagflation will result.

Here's what it looks like in Zimbabwe. Present-day Iceland give us a preview. And we know what the German inflation of the 1930's led to. What might it become in America? The effects of depression in the US are likely to shake us to the core. The real economy will collapse.

Dmitry Orlov's Five Stages of Collapse is well worth the read. The progressive collapse is: financial, commercial, political, social and finally cultural. Sweet!

Worldwide economic contraction is occurring. I still predict the total dollar collapse or devaluation by 2013, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Federal Reserve, which started the American phase of a 300 year-old central banking Ponzi scheme. When the general commodity de-leveraging finishes, expect gold to explode. Baby Boomers, pondering retirement options, need to take this into consideration.

Democrats have been holding hearings on various proposals to confiscate personal retirement accounts, including 401-Ks and IRAs to convert them to Guaranteed Retirement Accounts (GRAs) managed by the Social Security Administration. Based on his statements about "redistributing the wealth," Obama would not oppose this. Watch this closely and think about cashing in your retirement accounts early if this appears likely. If the Democrats get their filibuster-proof Senate, I'd bet on it happening.

Speaking of Obama, we see increasing likelihood that those who want a major change in US military intervention around the globe will be disappointed. Several (and here, here, and here) progressives observe that the early list of Obama's transition team and appointments indicate the War Party will continue unhindered. He's committed to expanding the unwinnable quagmire in Afghanistan. Gerald Celente says that "Going to Summers, Rubin, Reich, Tyson, Volker and the rest of them to fix the economy is like fighting the War on Crime by bringing in Al Capone, Meyer Lansky, Bugsy Seagal, and Machine Gun Kelly." The Clinton team played a big role in causing the crisis.

Another trend to take into consideration is the increasing mention of preparations for martial law in America. Congressmen were threatened with martial law if they did not vote for the Banker Bailout Bill (estimated at more than $3.5 Trillion now) in October. Democratic Rep. Brad Sherman reports it here. Republican Senator Jim Inhofe recently revealed that the threats were made directly by Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson. Drills for domestic martial occur yearly. NorthCom has now repositioned three combat units from Iraq into the US. Even MTV anticipates martial law. I saw several references in movie trailers before we watched the new James Bond movie last night.

Speaking of the Big Banker Bailout bill and it's associates, the total bill now is $3.5 Trillion and growing! Rep. Dennis Kucinich says it was sold as a "bait and switch" opeation, and that we're seeing "racketering on a scale this country has never seen before." Paulson's refusal to show the recipients of the loot is only fueling the movement to reconsider the Bailout.

What practically can we do?
None of this is pleasant to think about. Proverbs 27:12 says: "The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it." Hiding means taking prudent preparations. In our case, prudence requires that we convert as many of our dollar-denominated assets to gold, silver, security measures, food storage (great Christmas idea), seeds, water filters, and whatever else we will need to prepare for hard times. See Robert Waldrop's excellent website on Permaculture for lots of good advice. I'm encouraging my neighborhood association to develop plans for neighborhood security and helping neighbors plant victory gardens to ease dependence on the food transportation system. I also recommend looking into joining the fastest growing movement in Christianity, the house church. You know, like the New Testament model.

FYI, even though I'm planning a later article on global cooling, I found this today cataloguing the failures of Global Warming theories with stories from just the last two weeks! Keep these in mind as Obama pushes for carbon taxes.

Obama's Dick Cheney

When Jimmy Carter took office, his Trilateral B team replaced the Gerald Ford’s Trilateral A team. The Powers That Be (PTB) were still in control, despite outward appearances. With Obama, we see the PTB B team (“muscular liberals") again supplanting the PTB A team (NeoCons). “It’s deja vu all over again,” as Yogi Berra would say.

Another helpful way to look at the US political process is to compare it to professional wrestling. You pay your money to watch the wrestlers go through the motions of a real match as entertainment. When it’s over, the owners of the WWE pocket the money, pay the wrestlers for their services and retain control. (At least the World Wresting Entertainment organization has had the integrity to replace “Federation” with “Entertainment” in their name. And the spectators are in on the game, unlike most political partisans.)

With Obama, nothing substantial will change. As Lew Rockwell said: "under Obama, taxes and government spending will increase, government regulation and control over our lives will increase, economic disorder will increase, state police powers will increase, and imperialistic wars will continue unimpeded (and likely increase). In short, the political establishment will continue to pursue its agenda - without a break in meter - regardless of who it places on the throne. In the words of Emma Goldman: 'If voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal.'"

Confirming our understanding of the nature of the political game, Obama appointed Rahm Emanuel as his Chief Of Staff. The COS is usually the most powerful person on the President’s staff. The COS is the chief gatekeeper for news, analysis, access, as well as the President’s CEO. He has the power to shape POTUS’ view of the world, his thinking and actions. (Cheney’s VP office served this function for Bush, as his immediate puppet master.)

Who is Rahm Emanuel, (known as “Rahmbo” for his tough, abrasive style) and what conclusions can we draw about his appointment as Obama’s COS?

With “Rahmbo” Israeli Zionists cut out the middleman. He is a likely Mossad collaborator, if not outright agent. As the Jerusalem Post says: Emanuel is “a fiercely principled Jew and supporter of Israel, where his pediatrician father, Benjamin, was born and volunteered for the [Zionist terrorist] Irgun before moving to America. Emanuel, whose family name comes from the first name of an uncle killed in a 1933 skirmish with Arabs in Jerusalem, went to summer camp in Israel as a boy and grew up speaking Hebrew with his father. ‘He is unabashed about his own connection to Israel,’ said Michael Kotzin, executive vice president of the Jewish United Fund-Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago. ‘If he goes to the White House . . . Israel will have a friend [as POTUS’s right hand man].’"

Deceased Chicago journalist Sherman Skolnick’s reports on Rahmbo are chilling, and well worth your time. You’ll find out about: his influence and fund-raising with the Clintons, Mossad connections, White House sex scandals, nuclear secret sales to China, Chinese secret police, money laundering, Monica Lewinsky, and more. Mossad controls elections, politicians and media in the US and Britain.

The Palestinians are alarmed, and see Rahmbo’s appointment as a signal of no change in American policy in the Middle East. If Obama names Dennis Ross “Special Envoy to the Middle East,” their fears will only increase. If he picks Jane Harman has CIA head, we may have a pro-war trifecta in charge of Obama’s foreign policy.

In a revealing article, John Walsh details much about Rahmbo as a hawk on Iraq, advocating increasing the size of the military and setting up a new domestic spying operation to fight “terror.” After volunteering for Israel during the 1991 Gulf War to “rust-proof brakes” on an “army base,” he returned to the US to join the Clinton campaign “opening a spigot on needed campaign funds.” [From where, and why?] After leaving the Clinton administration, he spent 2 1/2 years for Wall Street financier Bruce Wasserman, hauling in a nice $18 million for his efforts. Makes you wonder what the story behind the story is. I can’t help but wonder if Rahmbo helped “open the spigot” for Obama’s reported $200 million in funds from “unknown sources.”

With Rahmbo as COS, no longer will the Israelis have to engage in ordinary spying (Jonathan Pollard, Aldrich Ames, Richard Perle, Larry Franklin, “art students,” et al.) to get access to US secrets. One of their own is deep on the inside, and will have access to any and all the information Israel wants.

Progressive are already figuring out that Rahmbo’s appointment as COS means they’ve been conned into thinking that Obama was anti-war. He supported Bush’s 2003 Iraq invasion and recently fought against restricting Bush’s ability to wage war on Iran. As head of the DNC Congressional campaigns in 2006, he successfully filtered out anti-war Dems in favor of their pro-war opponents. Samantha Power, often referred to as “the other half of Obama’s brain,” is a strong supporter of “humanitarian imperialism” by advocating military intervention in oil-rich Darfur. Such crusades for “human dignity” could result in a foreign policy worse than Bush’s. Many are beginning to see that we really have a One-Party system. Rahmbo will help continue the expansion of American empire.

Paul Craig Roberts gives a comprehensive run-down of Rahmbo’s top picks so far. Roberts says “Obama’s selection of Rahm Israel Emanuel as White House chief of staff is a signal that change ended with Obama’s election. The only thing different about the new administration will be the faces.”

Dick Eastman has long fought the abuses of the Bush-Clinton-Bush administration. He sees Obama as a fresh face that will allow the PTB to finish the destruction of America. I disagree with very little of his assessment. We’ve got to wake people up, especially those entranced by Obama.

What We Can Expect from Obama

Wednesday night I caught the last half of the Obama major TV network infomercial that concluded with a finish in front of a large arena crowd in Florida. As if to underscore what I had just written a few hours earlier in my blog post, I found that emotionally I wanted to believe him. I wanted to believe in him. It was much like I found when I used to listen to Bill Clinton. In spite of what I know about him and his policies, I found him very likable and disarming.
Obama and his support crew of filmmakers, stage designers, scrip writers and pollsters are top notch. These guys are good, very good. The art of propaganda and persuasion has come a long way since the days of Bernays, Hitler and Goebbels. At the end you could see people raising their arms to the heavens with tears in their eyes. Not much different from a Billy Graham crusade. (Expect the accusations of “anti-christ” soon enough.)

Whether the timing was scripted or not, this year’s “October surprise” has to have been the economic crisis. Whatever perceived advantage McCain had in foreign policy and “fighting terrorism” was rudely shoved aside by the fear and insecurity wrought by the onset of financial collapse. “It’s the economy, stupid” served the same focus for Obama as for Clinton in 1992 and the fear of terrorism for Bush in 2004.

Even though I’ve been writing about the coming financial tsunami since July, there is good reason to believe that it may have been precipitated for political reasons. Wall Street contributions to Obama are three times the amount for McCain. Goldman Sachs has major ties to the Democratic Party, as does financier George Soros. Both have the means, the motive and the opportunity to exacerbate the crisis.

Cliff Kincaid connects the dots: “Clearly, the controversy over the legislative “bailout” or “rescue” for Wall Street, which emerged in a big way on September 18, changed the dynamics of the presidential race. It has hugely benefited Obama by making the economy take precedence over Obama’s controversial associates, pro-socialist views, or lack of a background and security check.”

Remember: Treasury Secretary Paulson was CEO of Goldman Sachs until he joined the Bush administration a little more than two years ago. Goldman Sachs is a key player in the Plunge Protection Team. Paulson has a net worth over $700 million, much of it coming from compensation during the heyday of the derivatives boom that he is now using taxpayer funds to bail out his cronies. He lobbied for looser capital restrictions that unleashed the boom.

Substantial concerns continue about the status of Obama’s eligibility for President. If this is not dealt with conclusively before the elections, it certainly will be afterwards. Why McCain is not making this an issue is a mystery. But perhaps the reason is the same as why Bush’s Skull and Bones fraternity brother, John Kerry, chose not to pursue the obvious vote fraud in Ohio that permitted Bush to “win” the 2004 election. The “fix” may be in.

A President Obama will bring with him one of the worst records on 2nd Amendment rights of anyone in the Senate. Biden is no better. So expect to see a full-scale assault on Americans’ right of self-defense not only against ordinary criminals, but also against rogue government. Every fascist state in history has disarmed the people to make their job easier.

Alan Stang presents more information on the man pulling Obama’s foreign policy strings, Zbigniew Brzezinski. He was also McCain’s foreign policy advisor in 2000! Stang speculates Zbig will be the man behind the Obama curtain, just like Cheney has been for Bush. Joe Biden may have given us a clue about coming war with Russia. Here’s more info on NeoCon rats jumping to Obama’s ship.

Though Obama has introduced few bills while in the Senate, he’s a doozy: “The Global Poverty Act” (S.2433). “This bill is directly tied to the United Nations and serves as little more than a shakedown of American taxpayers in a massive wealth redistribution scheme. In fact, if passed, The Global Poverty Act will provide the United Nations with 0.7% of the United States gross national product. Estimates are that it will add up to at least $845 billion of taxpayer money for welfare to third world countries, in addition to the $300 billion Americans spent for the same thing in 2006.” This is another step toward a global government, as well as greater impoverishment of Americans in a time of financial crises and increasing inflation.

Here’s a list of things we can expect the Obama-Pelosi-Reid triumvirate to push through in the first 100 days from Patrick Buchanan:

“Rep. Barney Frank is calling for new tax hikes on the most successful and a 25 percent across-the-board slash in national defense. Sen. John Kerry is talking up new and massive federal spending, a la FDR's New Deal. Specifically, we can almost surely expect:
  • Swift amnesty for 12 million to 20 million illegal aliens and a drive to make them citizens and register them, as in the Bill Clinton years. This will mean that Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona will soon move out of reach for GOP presidential candidates, as has California.
  • Border security will go on the backburner, and America will have a virtual open border with a Mexico of 110 million.
  • Taxes will be raised on the top 5 percent of wage earners, who now carry 60 percent of the U.S. income tax burden, and tens of millions of checks will be sent out to the 40 percent of wage earners who pay no federal income tax. Like the man said, redistribute the wealth, spread it around.
  • Social Security taxes will be raised on the most successful among us, and capital gains taxes will be raised from 15 percent to 20 percent.
  • The Bush tax cuts will be repealed, and death taxes re-imposed.
  • Two or three more liberal activists of the Ruth Bader Ginsburg-John Paul Stevens stripe will be named to the Supreme Court. U.S. district and appellate courts will be stacked with "progressives."
  • Special protections for homosexuals will be written into all civil rights laws, and gays and lesbians in the military will be invited to come out of the closet. "Don't ask, don't tell" will be dead.
  • The homosexual marriages that state judges have forced California, Massachusetts and Connecticut to recognize, an Obama Congress or Obama court will require all 50 states to recognize.
  • A "Freedom of Choice Act" nullifying all state restrictions on abortions will be enacted. America will become the most pro-abortion nation on earth.
  • Affirmative action – hiring and promotions based on race, sex and sexual orientation until specified quotas are reached – will be rigorously enforced throughout the U.S. government and private sector.
  • Universal health insurance will be enacted, covering legal and illegal immigrants, providing another powerful magnet for the world to come to America, if necessary by breaching her borders.
  • A federal bailout of states and municipalities to keep state and local governments spending up could come in December or early next year.
The first trillion-dollar deficit will be run in the first year of an Obama presidency. It will be the first of many

And here’s a list from Richard Viguerie:
Making America [more] a socialist country [Bush has already taken us much farther in this direction].
Enacting a major distribution of wealth - in other words, taking from some Americans and giving it to others (including people here illegally).
Increasing the capital gains tax, which will reduce investments and new jobs.
Increasing the estate (death) tax, leaving more to the government and less for your children and grandchildren.
"Allowing" the Bush tax cuts to expire, thereby increasing taxes on most Americans.
Removing the cap on Social Security payroll taxes.
Increasing taxes on seniors who continue to work after retirement age.
Enacting huge taxes to fight "global warming," such as higher taxes on gasoline.
Merging the tax and welfare systems, disguising welfare checks as "tax cuts."
Creating more "welfare" programs for corporations using taxpayer money.
Instituting more taxpayer bailouts for Wall Street and other big corporations.
Imposing rules that require nearly all workers to join unions, even against their wishes.
Instituting a new "Fairness Doctrine" that would cause broadcast stations to eliminate radio talk shows (no more Rush Limbaugh, Jim Dobson, Laura Ingram, etc.). [Look for restrictions on freedom of speech on the internet, too.]
Issuing government mandates that increase the cost of health insurance, and making patients wait longer to see their doctors, dentists, and other health care providers.
Rationing health care for all, especially seniors.
Rationing health care for premature infants.
Rationing health care for people with rare diseases.
Rationing health care for people when doctors guess that they are terminally ill.
Rationing health care that uses new or expensive medicine or medical technology.
Having the government determining who will be your doctor.
Having the government deciding which hospital you will use.
Having the government deciding what medicines you can take.
Increasing welfare payments for illegal aliens.
Increasing taxpayers' health care spending on illegal aliens.
Eliminating rules that prevent vote fraud, such as requiring voter identification, and providing voting rights for felons.
Imposing government control over political content on the Internet.
Passing "hate crime" laws that would put ministers and others in jail for criticizing homosexual behavior.
Passing the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, which would require de facto quotas for homosexuals in every business and non-profit organization.
Requiring taxpayers to pay for all abortions and providing additional federal support to organizations that perform abortions.
Allowing all abortions, including partial-birth abortions.
Removing all state restrictions on abortion, including late-term abortions and requirements that health care be given to infants who survive abortions.
Voiding state laws on parental consent and informed consent.
Appointing judges who make decisions based on their political beliefs, instead of the Constitution and statutory law.
Ending restrictions on plaintiff lawyers who file frivolous lawsuits.
Signing and ratifying treaties that transfer U.S. sovereignty to the United Nations and other international organizations.
Making the District of Columbia the 51st state (with two Senators and a House member in Congress).
Making Puerto Rico the 52nd state (with two Senators and six House members in Congress).
Increasing federal government spending by a trillion dollars a year ($13,000 per family).
Good evidence exists that Obama’s “socialism” is more in line with the methods of Antonio Gramsci. Nazis also put them to good use. The result will be increasing American corporatism, or fascism.

Okay, enough already. Obama will probably win the election, if we can believe the polls. He certainly has the media pushing for him big time.

If McCain wins, expect major civil unrest. Police departments around the country are gearing up for it. If he wins, I’ll start forecasting what to expect.

Above all, remember: the Powers That Be ultimately control both candidates of the major parties. The NeoCons don’t want to relinquish their power. But like a tag team match in professional wrestling, it may be time to put a new villain into the ring.
