What We Can Expect from Obama

Wednesday night I caught the last half of the Obama major TV network infomercial that concluded with a finish in front of a large arena crowd in Florida. As if to underscore what I had just written a few hours earlier in my blog post, I found that emotionally I wanted to believe him. I wanted to believe in him. It was much like I found when I used to listen to Bill Clinton. In spite of what I know about him and his policies, I found him very likable and disarming.
Obama and his support crew of filmmakers, stage designers, scrip writers and pollsters are top notch. These guys are good, very good. The art of propaganda and persuasion has come a long way since the days of Bernays, Hitler and Goebbels. At the end you could see people raising their arms to the heavens with tears in their eyes. Not much different from a Billy Graham crusade. (Expect the accusations of “anti-christ” soon enough.)

Whether the timing was scripted or not, this year’s “October surprise” has to have been the economic crisis. Whatever perceived advantage McCain had in foreign policy and “fighting terrorism” was rudely shoved aside by the fear and insecurity wrought by the onset of financial collapse. “It’s the economy, stupid” served the same focus for Obama as for Clinton in 1992 and the fear of terrorism for Bush in 2004.

Even though I’ve been writing about the coming financial tsunami since July, there is good reason to believe that it may have been precipitated for political reasons. Wall Street contributions to Obama are three times the amount for McCain. Goldman Sachs has major ties to the Democratic Party, as does financier George Soros. Both have the means, the motive and the opportunity to exacerbate the crisis.

Cliff Kincaid connects the dots: “Clearly, the controversy over the legislative “bailout” or “rescue” for Wall Street, which emerged in a big way on September 18, changed the dynamics of the presidential race. It has hugely benefited Obama by making the economy take precedence over Obama’s controversial associates, pro-socialist views, or lack of a background and security check.”

Remember: Treasury Secretary Paulson was CEO of Goldman Sachs until he joined the Bush administration a little more than two years ago. Goldman Sachs is a key player in the Plunge Protection Team. Paulson has a net worth over $700 million, much of it coming from compensation during the heyday of the derivatives boom that he is now using taxpayer funds to bail out his cronies. He lobbied for looser capital restrictions that unleashed the boom.

Substantial concerns continue about the status of Obama’s eligibility for President. If this is not dealt with conclusively before the elections, it certainly will be afterwards. Why McCain is not making this an issue is a mystery. But perhaps the reason is the same as why Bush’s Skull and Bones fraternity brother, John Kerry, chose not to pursue the obvious vote fraud in Ohio that permitted Bush to “win” the 2004 election. The “fix” may be in.

A President Obama will bring with him one of the worst records on 2nd Amendment rights of anyone in the Senate. Biden is no better. So expect to see a full-scale assault on Americans’ right of self-defense not only against ordinary criminals, but also against rogue government. Every fascist state in history has disarmed the people to make their job easier.

Alan Stang presents more information on the man pulling Obama’s foreign policy strings, Zbigniew Brzezinski. He was also McCain’s foreign policy advisor in 2000! Stang speculates Zbig will be the man behind the Obama curtain, just like Cheney has been for Bush. Joe Biden may have given us a clue about coming war with Russia. Here’s more info on NeoCon rats jumping to Obama’s ship.

Though Obama has introduced few bills while in the Senate, he’s a doozy: “The Global Poverty Act” (S.2433). “This bill is directly tied to the United Nations and serves as little more than a shakedown of American taxpayers in a massive wealth redistribution scheme. In fact, if passed, The Global Poverty Act will provide the United Nations with 0.7% of the United States gross national product. Estimates are that it will add up to at least $845 billion of taxpayer money for welfare to third world countries, in addition to the $300 billion Americans spent for the same thing in 2006.” This is another step toward a global government, as well as greater impoverishment of Americans in a time of financial crises and increasing inflation.

Here’s a list of things we can expect the Obama-Pelosi-Reid triumvirate to push through in the first 100 days from Patrick Buchanan:

“Rep. Barney Frank is calling for new tax hikes on the most successful and a 25 percent across-the-board slash in national defense. Sen. John Kerry is talking up new and massive federal spending, a la FDR's New Deal. Specifically, we can almost surely expect:
  • Swift amnesty for 12 million to 20 million illegal aliens and a drive to make them citizens and register them, as in the Bill Clinton years. This will mean that Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona will soon move out of reach for GOP presidential candidates, as has California.
  • Border security will go on the backburner, and America will have a virtual open border with a Mexico of 110 million.
  • Taxes will be raised on the top 5 percent of wage earners, who now carry 60 percent of the U.S. income tax burden, and tens of millions of checks will be sent out to the 40 percent of wage earners who pay no federal income tax. Like the man said, redistribute the wealth, spread it around.
  • Social Security taxes will be raised on the most successful among us, and capital gains taxes will be raised from 15 percent to 20 percent.
  • The Bush tax cuts will be repealed, and death taxes re-imposed.
  • Two or three more liberal activists of the Ruth Bader Ginsburg-John Paul Stevens stripe will be named to the Supreme Court. U.S. district and appellate courts will be stacked with "progressives."
  • Special protections for homosexuals will be written into all civil rights laws, and gays and lesbians in the military will be invited to come out of the closet. "Don't ask, don't tell" will be dead.
  • The homosexual marriages that state judges have forced California, Massachusetts and Connecticut to recognize, an Obama Congress or Obama court will require all 50 states to recognize.
  • A "Freedom of Choice Act" nullifying all state restrictions on abortions will be enacted. America will become the most pro-abortion nation on earth.
  • Affirmative action – hiring and promotions based on race, sex and sexual orientation until specified quotas are reached – will be rigorously enforced throughout the U.S. government and private sector.
  • Universal health insurance will be enacted, covering legal and illegal immigrants, providing another powerful magnet for the world to come to America, if necessary by breaching her borders.
  • A federal bailout of states and municipalities to keep state and local governments spending up could come in December or early next year.
The first trillion-dollar deficit will be run in the first year of an Obama presidency. It will be the first of many

And here’s a list from Richard Viguerie:
Making America [more] a socialist country [Bush has already taken us much farther in this direction].
Enacting a major distribution of wealth - in other words, taking from some Americans and giving it to others (including people here illegally).
Increasing the capital gains tax, which will reduce investments and new jobs.
Increasing the estate (death) tax, leaving more to the government and less for your children and grandchildren.
"Allowing" the Bush tax cuts to expire, thereby increasing taxes on most Americans.
Removing the cap on Social Security payroll taxes.
Increasing taxes on seniors who continue to work after retirement age.
Enacting huge taxes to fight "global warming," such as higher taxes on gasoline.
Merging the tax and welfare systems, disguising welfare checks as "tax cuts."
Creating more "welfare" programs for corporations using taxpayer money.
Instituting more taxpayer bailouts for Wall Street and other big corporations.
Imposing rules that require nearly all workers to join unions, even against their wishes.
Instituting a new "Fairness Doctrine" that would cause broadcast stations to eliminate radio talk shows (no more Rush Limbaugh, Jim Dobson, Laura Ingram, etc.). [Look for restrictions on freedom of speech on the internet, too.]
Issuing government mandates that increase the cost of health insurance, and making patients wait longer to see their doctors, dentists, and other health care providers.
Rationing health care for all, especially seniors.
Rationing health care for premature infants.
Rationing health care for people with rare diseases.
Rationing health care for people when doctors guess that they are terminally ill.
Rationing health care that uses new or expensive medicine or medical technology.
Having the government determining who will be your doctor.
Having the government deciding which hospital you will use.
Having the government deciding what medicines you can take.
Increasing welfare payments for illegal aliens.
Increasing taxpayers' health care spending on illegal aliens.
Eliminating rules that prevent vote fraud, such as requiring voter identification, and providing voting rights for felons.
Imposing government control over political content on the Internet.
Passing "hate crime" laws that would put ministers and others in jail for criticizing homosexual behavior.
Passing the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, which would require de facto quotas for homosexuals in every business and non-profit organization.
Requiring taxpayers to pay for all abortions and providing additional federal support to organizations that perform abortions.
Allowing all abortions, including partial-birth abortions.
Removing all state restrictions on abortion, including late-term abortions and requirements that health care be given to infants who survive abortions.
Voiding state laws on parental consent and informed consent.
Appointing judges who make decisions based on their political beliefs, instead of the Constitution and statutory law.
Ending restrictions on plaintiff lawyers who file frivolous lawsuits.
Signing and ratifying treaties that transfer U.S. sovereignty to the United Nations and other international organizations.
Making the District of Columbia the 51st state (with two Senators and a House member in Congress).
Making Puerto Rico the 52nd state (with two Senators and six House members in Congress).
Increasing federal government spending by a trillion dollars a year ($13,000 per family).
Good evidence exists that Obama’s “socialism” is more in line with the methods of Antonio Gramsci. Nazis also put them to good use. The result will be increasing American corporatism, or fascism.

Okay, enough already. Obama will probably win the election, if we can believe the polls. He certainly has the media pushing for him big time.

If McCain wins, expect major civil unrest. Police departments around the country are gearing up for it. If he wins, I’ll start forecasting what to expect.

Above all, remember: the Powers That Be ultimately control both candidates of the major parties. The NeoCons don’t want to relinquish their power. But like a tag team match in professional wrestling, it may be time to put a new villain into the ring.

Yeah...that is pretty much right on. The scary thing is that no one cares. All they see is a Democrat or a black man. They are looking at none of his policies or really what he is wanting to do. Personally, the only thing Obama and I agree on in him running for President is that he is black. I would love to see a President from a different cultural backgroud, but I will not choose him solely for when I disagree with him on everything else.
