America's current reality as described by George Orwell 1984 is our current theme. Orwell portrayed Statism -- an all-inclusive police state with controls designed to keep the masses of "proles" from realizing they were slaves. The implementation of the total surveillance society in America ramped up drastically after the false flag 9-11 attacks. No doubt, setting up the Amerikan police state was one of the primary goals of this blood-thirsty coup.

Homeland Security is first, and foremost, about controlling the American people. If defending us from external terrorists of the "Islamo-fascist" variety were the goal, the border would have been sealed from day one, and we would not have seen the illegal immigration of 18 million people in the interim. You'd think at least one terrorist disguised as a Mexican illegal would be hiding at least a bar of C4 to detonate in some unsecured shopping mall to disrupt Christmas shopping and injure our economy and spoil the holidays. Hasn't happened, has it?  This conclusion is such a no-brainer that it is lost only on the die-hard supporters of Bush-Obama and the CorpGov fake TwoPartySystem. They are the willingly enslaved who doom their grandchildren to poverty on the CorpGov plantation.

Alex Jones has today's lead story detailing the roll-out of hundreds of mobile backscatter X-ray machines to spy on Americans on roadways, athletic facilities, and in their homes in addition to the ongoing roll-out of the "naked body" X-ray scanners by TSA at American airports. These will be used in conjunction with their ControlGrid databases for DNA, fingerprints, blood, facial and body recognition, to track us everywhere we go. Moreover, repeated low-level radiation doses increase one's susceptibility to many cancers, so this is a "slow kill" operation as well. The Ruling Class can't let us become "useless eaters," and BigMedPharma is determined to drain our families' net worth as they use their cut-burn-poison arsenal on us in "heroic" efforts to "save" our lives in our last few months on earth.

Already Italy has pulled out the naked body scanners due to potential dangers. I suggest you avoid them at all costs if you must fly. Complain to the airlines that they deter you from flying. Take the extra time to get inspected if you need to. Massive, peaceful noncompliance is one of the acts we can each use to fight back and bog down the system. (That's one reason why new reporting requirements for taxes are being rolled out.)

Television is the Ruling Class's most pervasive propaganda tool. Most of us think we are immune to its effects. To the extent that we are aware of the true state of affairs, that may be true. We've developed some discernment as to what we're watching. But what we don't get as well is that when we watch TV we go into a hypnotic-like state that opens portals into our mind, soul and spirit that allow input not only of what we're overtly aware, but also that which we are not -- the subliminal messages and even ideas and images that can intrude on frequencies beyond our conscious awareness. "The physical way in which TV affects the brain makes it a  perfect vehicle for propaganda.  It’s important to note that your eyes grow directly, stem-like, from the brain. They really are the window to the soul and the perfect conduit to access the brain’s inner sanctums."

These statistics from a recent survey illustrate the problem:

• Each day in the U.S., people spend on average 4.7 hours watching TV, 3 hours listening to the radio and 14 minutes reading magazines.
• The projected average number of hours an individual (12 and older) will spend watching television this year is 1,750.
• In a 65-year life, the average person will have spent 9 years glued to the tube.

Mind-boggling, huh? These come from a Burning Platform post on the author's re-reading of Fahrenheit 451. This must-read article is rich in insights: "Bradbury envisioned gigantic flat screen wall TVs that interacted with the audience and people wearing seashell earbuds so they could listen to the radio. Anything to keep from reading, thinking, questioning or wondering. Today, anesthetized kids and non-thinking adults sit in front of the boob tube with their Playstation controllers in hand and a microphone attached to their ear, killing zombies while talking to their fellow warriors, sitting in their own living rooms somewhere in the world."

The Police State needs constant crises to expand and maintain its power. The movie "V is for Vendetta" illustrates how false flag terrorism is a time-tested method used by tyrannies to increase their power and demonize their opposition. Rahm Immanuel, Obama's Zionist chief-of-staff and fellow lifetime member of Chicago's top gay bath house club, is famously quoted that a crisis should never be wasted, but used to advance one's political agenda. That's why it is naive to think that the Obamanoids really believe that the policies they're pushing will make things better for the USEconomy and most Americans. That is not their goal.

On the contrary, they know what they're doing. Sure, some Obamanoids may be merely misguided Keynesians who don't understand economics. But the inner circle are surely following the Saul Alinsky-inspired Cloward-Piven strategy that bankrupted New York City in 1974. Their goal is to so overwhelm the US economy and destroy our vital moral, spiritual and economic infrastructure and foundations that we will never recover. This conveniently ties in with the long-term strategy of the globalists pushing for a New World Order. Let that sink in for a few moments. It may change your life.

Numerous informed observers are concluding that the US as the founders intended is dead (a walking zombie, I said in my previous post). The The End of the Rule of Law in America, says Bob Livingston. Paul Craig Roberts has written recently about The Nazification of the United States, Death by Globalism, The Collapse of Western Morality, and It's Official: The US is a Police State.

Meanwhile, everyone acts as if everything is "normal." I still get lots of eye-rolling whenever I try to talk with people about what's happening, what's important that will affect their and their offspring's futures in the most negative of ways. But most of them are plugged into the MindControlMedia that soothingly tells them that everything's under control, or if they are alarmed, at least the Tea Party and Sarah Palin will save them as the Republicans expect to re-take control of Congress in November. If that happens, all we'll see is a change in rhetoric and faces as the good guys and bad guys change roles in our political pro-wrestler con game.

Before you Conservatives get excited about the prospects, just remember Charlie Schlutz' classic Peanuts cartoons that coincidentally ran every fall around election time. No matter how fervently Lucy promised she wouldn't pull away the football just before Charlie was to kick it, she always did. Fooled again, Charlie Brown. Will we fall for it again, too? Remember also that without Bush, Obama would not have been possible. At the end of the day, they work for the same Banksters.

Speaking of propaganda, here's a just-in example of the MindControlMedia financial talking heads busy at work persuading the average American to ignore the continuing 10-years upward march in gold and silver prices because the "bubble" is about to burst! Right. Not!! I hope you're learning to SpotTheProp and ignore them.

More conservative-libertarian activists are warning of the dangerous role of Glenn Beck in subverting/deflecting the growing Freedom Movement. The latest, "The Beck Deception," spells out many of the intentional ploys Beck uses in the service of his masters. If you are one of those who still thinks Beck is on the side of freedom and revealing the whole truth about how we are being controlled, I urge you to study this article with an open mind. Unfortunately in Oklahoma, one of our long-time conservative grassroots leaders has fallen for Beck hook, line and sinker. In uncharacteristic fashion, he recommends that his followers regularly watch Beck, without warning about the associated great dangers. He has had the dangers of Beck pointed out in great detail, without any public impact. I am both puzzled and disappointed.

Recently we've seen an orchestrated demonization of 9-11 truthers by MSM shills like Beck, Chris Matthews, O'Reily and others. With growing number of Americans (more than a third) questioning the official story, the Elite are starting to panic. Now these truth-seekers are being smeared as "possible violent terrorists."  If you are one of those who has let Beck malign the word "truth" by disparaging those who question the government's explanations of events and seek truth and calling them "truthers," you might find "A Guide to 9-11 Whistleblowers" helpful. One of the major purposes is to institute a comprehensive control structure to spy on and dominate the American public. This is more difficult to comprehend if you still believe that the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq were mere responses to unprovoked attacks by Al-CIA-da on 9-11.

The fact is that the total surveillance society has escalated dramatically at every level since 9-11. If Osama Bin Laden hated America because of its "freedom" prior to 9-11, then he has accomplished his goal. That freedom is long gone, and only those blind American patriots in denial don't know that.

Remember the first Gulf War under Poppy Bush where we kicked Saddam's butt and lost just a few hundred US soldiers. Seems now that over 73,000 Gulf War vets are now dead, and and over 1.6 million disability claims filed. I guess all the depleted uranium we spread all over Iraq and all the vaccines the soldiers were costly to the US. Obama and the Fourth Turning Watershed

ObamaWatch: Following on the "Groundhog Day" theme (from what I consider one of America's great movies) of a few days ago, John Pilger observes that so far Obama's "change" is a code word for "continuity." Keeping Gates as SecDef promises the US will be deeply involved in the Middle East for some time. John Brennan at CIA shows tolerance for "extraordinary rendition. Madeline Albright, an architect of Clinton's 1990's genocide in the siege of Baghdad, is assigned to develop the US response to genocide.

"There is more continuity in Obama’s appointment of officials who will deal with the economic piracy that brought down Wall Street and impoverished millions. As in Bill Murray’s nightmare, they are the same officials who caused it. . . . Contrary to myth, Obama’s campaign was funded largely by rapacious capital, such as Citigroup and others responsible for the sub-prime mortgage scandal, whose victims were mostly African Americans and other poor people. . . . President Obama is the latest manager of an ideological machine that transcends electoral power."


Pilger finds hope in Obama's idealistic supporters who his cynical advisors say "have no place else to go. . . . If there is a happy ending to the Groundhog Day of repeated wars and plunder, it may well be found in the very mass movement whose enthusiasts registered voters and knocked on doors and brought Obama to power. Will they now be satisfied as spectators to the cynicism of “continuity”? In less than three months, millions of angry Americans have been politicized by the spectacle of billions of dollars of handouts to Wall Street as they struggle to save their jobs and homes. It's as if seeds have begun to sprout beneath the political snow. And history, like Groundhog Day, can repeat itself. Few predicted the epoch-making events of the 1960s and the speed with which they happened. As a beneficiary of that time, Obama should know that when the blinkers are removed, anything is possible."


My hope is that Obama's youthful supporters (as opposed to the die hard Democrats) will be far less tolerant of Obama's sellout than were Bush's apologists on the Christian Right. Both supported their man with religious fervor. The Millennial Generation's secular religious tendencies should prove less enduring as the reality of the Obama administration sets in. His charisma will start to ring hollow. They probably won't like his calls for mandatory "national service" (the draft). And they should have no stomach for the continued bloodshed in the Middle East. His allegiance to the Banksters and ties to corruption will be clear for all to see.

On the other hand, with the economy going in the tank, financial stress may see them opting for the security of all the new government jobs he's promising with his stimulus packages. The more idealistic/authoritarian of them may relish the idea of becoming part of his new, million-member, National Civilian Security Force. Youthful idealists are not immune. Could they become counterparts to Hitler's Brown Shirts or Mussolini's Black Shirt Militia? Is this warning by a former member of Hitler's Youth on target? Our Dear Leader is already touted as a role model and appears in government school textbooks. Is there a limit to what can be justified by an appeal to "the greater good?"

The battle for the future may well be in the hands of the Millennials as we enter the Fourth Turning. My fear is that they have been so brainwashed by the government schools and popular culture, that they won't even be able to grasp the real issues. The home schooled kids I've met are generally much better grounded and independent in their thinking than the public, and even private, schooled graduates. They are less susceptible to mob psychology, too.


It may well be that King Obama's Dream Team will complete the transformation of our once constitutional republic into fascist Amerika. Capitalism and freedom may well be dead. As Ayn Rand wrote 50 years ago, "Capitalism: [is] The Unknown ideal." What we have experienced in the US in our lifetimes is not free market capitalism, though it has been represented as such. But, "capitalism" gets the bad rap for the economic problems we face. I've heard this from three well-"educated" Millennials I know. Therefore, they are Marxists. Incredible!


America has morphed, slowly like the proverbial frog in the heating pot of water, into Amerika: "Our country was founded upon the principles of freedom, responsibility, and opportunity to succeed or fail. Government was supposed to play a limited role in our lives. Government’s function was to defend against foreign invaders, provide basic services, enforce the laws, and maintain the public infrastructure of the country. Over time government has incessantly intervened in the economic system and by successive steps has moved the country toward socialism. Millions of Americans are now totally dependent upon handouts from the government. This policy of government expansion through the use of credit at the expense of taxpayers is detrimental to the rest of society. Interventionist wars, undeclared by Congress, and maintaining military bases in 117 countries were not envisioned by the Founding Fathers. The more we consent to government intervening in our lives, the more freedom that we lose. We are now experiencing the utmost intervention by government in our 222 year history."

Ominously, Obama's continuity pick for SecDef Gates calls for greater integration between active duty and reserve military. And new rules published in the Federal Register call for expanding the military's domestic mission "to prevent environmental damage or respond to 'special events' and 'other domestic activities.'" Earlier we reported the combat brigades now stationed in the US by Northcom for domestic peacekeeping. So long Posse Comitatus!

My mood of apprehension increases as we approach the King's inauguration and his First 100 Days. They promise to be truly "transforming." Too bad for us.

The Crisis Continues

It is apparent that the PTB will be using the fear and confusion resulting from continuing crises to seize more and more power. The orchestration of fear ("shock and awe") following last Monday's vote down of the first bailout plan is a prime example. The articles on Mindwars in the October 5 post explain this method clearly.

Banking expert Joan Veon maintains that the power seizure in response to the credit crisis is the last remaining piece to put in place before the United States yields its sovereignty to "a global regulatory system to merge our banking, insurance, and stock market and commodity industries to that of the other countries of the world." It is a major theft and fleecing of America. Soon the Fed may own substantial portions of states and corporations.

Both Obama and McCain are solidly in the pockets of their puppet masters. Republicans should be used to blindly sacrificing their principles to support their President or candidate. Those Democrats, who are in a religious fervor believing Obama will be different, will have their wake up call soon enough. A little research will show that he is just another empty-suited political whore, every bit as much as McCain. Sorry to dash your hopes. (Predictably, most Obama True Believers either won't do the research or discount anything they find -- just like the so-called "principled conservatives" did with Bush.)

In light of the above, remember that Obama is continually reminding his audiences that he's going to be calling on all of us to sacrifice for the greater good. I've written before about Obama's call for a Stasi-like "national civilian police force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded" as the military! He also wants to double the size of the Peace Corps and quadruple the size of AmeriCorps. A few days ago he was offering to trade a college education for public service. In Great Depression II, many people will buy into these programs just to get a job and health benefits (like the TSA?)

Paul Craig Roberts' excellent article points out that the good news about this financial crisis is that it will bring an end to the American empire and necocon supremacy. The bad news is that the coming collapse of the dollar will remove it as the world's reserve currency, leaving us with much lower living standards.

How interesting it is to see Ron Paul interviewed on all the cable news networks to get his views on the economy. Now that he has been ignored to the point that he couldn't get a real shot at the Presidency, they're fascinated by his views on the financial meltdown. Among other things, Paul calls this a massive tax increase.

The US market was down at one time today almost 800 points. Euro stocks in the biggest fall since 1987 and are "falling into the abyss." Tomorrow ought to be the big slam.

Financial Tsunami Update

The economic storm clouds are getting darker. More writers are calling this a financial "tsunami," and more are comparing it with the Great Depression of the 1930's. The only voices of optimism are Paulson, Bernanke and Bush, and the lap dog mainstream press. And their credibility is plummeting.

Yet I find a number of people, in the spirit of American optimism, think I'm exaggerating. They believe the rhetoric that the Fed will fix things and we'll "muddle through" to face the next crisis. How I wish it were so this time.

The truth is, the die was cast a long time ago. When the US dollar was on a gold standard, monetary discipline was imposed on the financial system. With the founding of the Federal Reserve System in 1913 and Roosevelt's abandonment of the gold standard in 1933, we went on a debt standard. Nixon threw out the last vestige of monetary restraint in 1971 when he closed the gold window. Now the US dollar was backed by nothing but debt, and the "full faith and credit" of the US Government (i.e., the printing press in the back room).

Given the proclivities of politicians to spend money and wage war without raising taxes, the fate of the dollar was sealed. The only variable was how long would it take? A good date to pick for the death of the dollar is 2013, the hundreth anniversary of the founding of the Fed.

FDR and LBJ, as well as every administration since, ramped up social welfare spending that could not be funded in the long run, i.e, when the Baby Boomers started retiring. The Federal Government grew into a self-sustaining, expensive bureaucracy that outlasts every President and never stops increasing in size and cost. The military-industrial complex Eisenhower warned about turned the US into a welfare-warfare state, with the resulting Demopublican War Party firmly entrenched in power.

The media had its last hurrah as a watchdog after Watergate and Iran-Contra. Now the top media stars are highly paid celebrities beholden to their corporate masters, with interlocking ownership and directorates with the entire military-corporatist-banking-globalist establishment.

The Bush-Cheney-NeoCon "war on terror" has become a war on America, installing the machinery for a full-blown police state. John McCain and Barack Obama are salivating at the thought of wielding all that power to push their own agendas. Both have pledged to carry on the NeoCon program in the Middle East and subservience to Israeli Zionists. Moreover, Obama is pushing a socialist-communitarian-communist ideology that promises fundamental changes in the rights to life, liberty, property and self-defense that most Americans cherish. But more on politics in another post.

If you still believe things aren't too bad economically, you owe it to yourself to challenge your premises. Your financial future depends on it. Start with a trip to John Williams' excellent Shadow Government Statistics. He exposes in great detail the biased and often-manipulated government economic reporting.

For political reasons, important statistical indicators of economic health have been biased to minimize the bad news about inflation, the federal deficit, unemployment, GDP, etc. This started before Bush II. Williams reconstructs and continues measures the government dropped (like M-3 money supply growth), and recalculates others with their original components (like CPI). The results are staggering.

For instance, by applying Generally Accepted Accounting Practices to the US Government, we're adding an average of $4.6 Trillion a year to our indebtedness! The Federal Net Worth was a negative $57.1 Trillion at the end of 2007!! There is no way to tax or grow our way to solvency. And the politicians seem determined to keep printing money out of thin air to bail out the financial system and cover our obligations.

A must read is his comprehensive report "Hyperinflation." If you will take time to study this well-written 27-page report, you will see why he says a "hyperinflationary depression" worse than the Great Depression (Great Depression II, if you will) is unavoidable between 2010 and 2018. Probably it will be sooner than later. The graphs are clear about what has happened to the value of the dollar, and what is its fate.

Please read this report! His economic theory is sound and his statistics impeccable. You will see why you must put yourself on a plan to survive the meltdown of the dollar. Yes, the Weimar Republic can happen here. So can the rise of a messianic dictator who offers hope and "economic security" in the midst of economic catastrophe and the resulting social unrest. [Friends, the federal government is not able to provide economic security for anyone. Remember "I am from the government, and I'm here to help you"?]

At the risk of distracting you from the main report, I provide secondary evidence that the consumer is tapped out. Unemployment is rising, wages are falling, auto sales are crashing, credit cards are maxed, "discretionary" purchases are going instead to buy higher prices energy and food. The US economy, based 70% on consumer spending, is contracting.

Did I mention that banking systems around the world are failing? First Priority Bank in Florida failed Friday, the 8th US bank this year. The National Bank of Australia took a 90% loss on US mortgage debt writedowns. Royal Bank of Scotland is poised for the biggest loss in UK banking history. One observer says the Fed is panicking to hide the truth about the credit crisis so that the wealthy can be bailed out at the expense of the poor.

If Bush-Cheney-McCain-Obama-Israel start a war with Iran, the hyperinflation timetable shortens considerably. And shades of 9/11, what are we to make of Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh's shocking revelations "that Bush administration officials held a meeting recently in the Vice President’s office to discuss ways to provoke a war with Iran?"

Says Hersh, "There was a dozen ideas proffered about how to trigger a war. The one that interested me the most was why don’t we build — we in our shipyard — build four or five boats that look like Iranian PT boats. Put Navy seals on them with a lot of arms. And next time one of our boats goes to the Straits of Hormuz, start a shoot-up." Cheney's "false flag operation" sounds like Operation Northwoods reincarnated. (Keith Olbermann gave Cheney his "worst person in the world" award for this idea.)

Take advantage of the last few weeks of the traditional summer doldrums in the precious metals. The base for gold seems established at $910 and silver at $17. Expect gold at near $1200 and silver above $20 by the end of 2008, IF Iran is not attacked. (Big IF). A few graphs (and here) might give you courage. Howard Ruff says "inflation is not rising prices; it's a falling dollar."

I've been begging some of my dear friends to buy gold for the last five years. It was always "too high," at $375, $450, $600, $650. Today it still seems high at $910. Meanwhile, whereas the dollar could buy 1 Euro for $0.85 six years ago, it now takes almost $1.60. As experienced traders say, "Don't fight the trend!" And as Gary North says, "Procrastination kills!"

Police State Update

Astute commentators have often noted that the war on “terror” seems to be more of a war on American citizens’ civil liberties. The authorities are doing a number of things to get us used to the coming police state. Like the naïve frog in slowly heating water, we’re being conditioned to accept what would previously been unthinkable in the “land of the free.” As with the ten-year-old “Chemtrail” aerial spraying program that few seem to notice or care about, like sheep we soon accept each encroachment on our freedom as something natural and normal. (Chemtrail spraying seems to increase the levels of toxic heavy metals in the air we breathe.)

We used to mock the Soviet and Nazi checkpoints and their famous command: “Your papers, please!” But like Pavlov’s dogs, we’re being trained to compliantly fumble for our papers for any number of security guards in airports and public places. It’s all part of the “Homeland Security,” program, echoing the Nazi term “Fatherland” in their policing manuals.

Right after the 9/11 attacks, more affluent and educated Americans began their conditioning process as they went through the TSA lines to board an aircraft. They meekly gave up their pocketknives, toenail clippers and shampoo to TSA guards happy to have finally found a government job. The stories of abuse are legion, and soon guards will be able to ogle passengers with full body scans that leave nothing to the imagination.

I’ve recently seen reports of police with automatic rifles patrolling subways in New York City and Washington, DC (didn’t save the links). This week there is a weeklong “anti-terrorism” training exercise in Denver with military helicopters swarming all over the skies.

Senator Dodd’s new Housing bill contains a sweeping provision that would require the nation’s payment systems to track, aggregate and report information on nearly every electronic payment transaction to the federal government. I thought that all our financial privacy was already gone!

President Bush’s new NSPD 59 is called “Biometrics for Identification and Screening to Enhance National Security. “NSPD 59 goes far beyond the issue of biometric identification, it recommends the collection and storage of ‘associated biographic’ information, meaning information on the private lives of US citizens, in minute detail, all of which will be ‘accomplished within the law’:
‘The contextual data that accompanies biometric data includes information on date and place of birth, citizenship, current address and address history, current employment and employment history, current phone numbers and phone number history, use of government services and tax filings. Other contextual data may include bank account and credit card histories, plus criminal database records on a local, state and federal level. The database also could include legal judgments or other public records documenting involvement in legal disputes, child custody records and marriage or divorce records.’"

Federal and state authorities now want to take DNA samples from newborn babies to help build a DNA database. Police are now taking DNA samples during traffic stops and prostitution stings, as well as fingerprints during traffic stops.

Many of my friends shrug all this off with an air of inevitability, while the last 28% of the people who still believe George Bush is a great President defend these actions as part of the “war on terror” that is keeping us safe. As Jay Leno once said, let’s send our Constitution to Iraq; we’re not using it anymore. Especially the Fourth Amendment.
