The Pot is Coming to a Boil

The Dog Poet has written an excellent post on why we should expect multiple crises to ramp up exponentially Any Day Now. I couldn't agree more. Highly recommended. The Global Elite is in trouble. More and more people are waking up, and they have to do something to put a stop to it.

For all you people who think electing Obama will solve all your problems, you'll love this new video, "The Government Can." For the rest of us realists, we'll be laughing out loud. BHO's credibility continues to dissolve as shown in the 7 Big Lies in his recent Health Care Speech. More on collapsing government credibility below.

As more news comes in, my sense on the Swine Flu scare right now is that the H1N1 is less virulent than is being publicized. BUT, the scare is being used to push the vaccines, as part financial scam and part eugenics population reduction program to produce vaccine-induced auto-immune disorders and possible create breeding grounds for a more virulent virus mutations.

Judge Napolitano weighs in on mandatory vaccinations in Massachusetts. The Judge is the only bright spot on Fox, and they've relegated him primarily to the internet.

Retired State Trooper Greg Evensen follows up with confirmation of his earlier report that the mandatory vaccination program will include stainless steel bracelets with microchips. Boston already has such a vaccination tracking system.

Dr. Russell Blaylock has a 4-part video on "What To Do If You're Forced to Take the Swine Flu Shot."

As government becomes increasingly impotent to deliver on its promises, and as the public continues to awaken to the coup that has place the USGov under the direct control of the large banks and financial institutions at the expense of their long-range well-being, we'll see more outrage. The Tea Parties and 912 events are just part of the beginning.

Now we see graffiti appearing at Walgreen's warning of Swine Flu vaccine dangers. Protesters are appearing at drive through vaccination stations handing out literature. They report that some people are turning away as a result, saving them and their children from the vaccine side-effects.

It is also becoming apparent that the entire Homeland Security apparatus has been set up primarily to control the American people themselves. The MIAC reports, the DHS Terrrosim Lexicon, FEMA drills involving foreign military to police the US, and increasing armed military presence in civilian policing situations all point to this for anyone who has eyes to see and is not afraid to think the worst.

Feds Probe Census Working Hanging in Kentucky - Rahm Emanuel, the Israeli agent controlling Obama, hates to let a good crisis go to waste. Now he has a reason to label all who protest the unconstitutional parts of the census (most of it) as potential "domestic terrorists." The MSM drumbeat is already starting. See how obvious it is that the biggest threats to civil order are precisely those people who still believe in the US Constitution?

If you're a Constitutionalist, the nice government men are preparing a "Civilian Inmate Labor Program" to rehabilitate you in a FEMA camp. I hope to review the new video, Camp FEMA, for you next week. I hear it is a blockbuster, and should expose Glenn Beck's lies when he feebly tried to debunk their existence last spring.

Although I've seen numerous reports over the years that Osama Bin Laden has been dead since December of 2001, his corpse is brought out like El-Cid on horseback whenever the PTB needs another terrorism booga booga.

The latest bin Laden fake several weeks ago was audio only, as most of them are, and of very poor quality. Isn't it surprising how the average dumbed down American believes that bin Laden masterminded the defeat of the US intelligence agencies and air defense from caves in Afghanistan, but can't afford a $100 video camera to deliver realistic video and audio messages of bin Laden that can easily be verified? Remember: Al Quada (al CIAda) is fake. (See the quote at the upper right hand of the blog.)

War with Iran looks increasingly inevitable. Iran has dumped the US dollar for the Euro to protect the value of its foreign exchange reserves. Saddam signed his death warrant when he did the same thing prior to the US invasion of Iraq. If you think war with Iran will be a good thing, realize that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are helping bankrupt the US, and that both are far from successful. The fallout from war with Iran will likely be radioactive. I hate it when that happens.

Yet our Zionist masters say war with Iran is inevitable unless we impose severe sanctions on Iran. We're hearing all the usual stories about Iranian nukes, atrocities and anything else the MediaWhores can think of to stampede us into war with Iran. We've seen all kinds of "preventative" terrorism ops in the last week to prevent terrorism. So it seems we're likely to get another 9-11 false flag event to conveniently blame on Iran.

Meanwhile, Iranian President Ahmadinehab gave a speech to the UN, much of which could easily be given by any US patriot. But delegates from the US, Canada, Israel and parts of the EU walked out. Nevertheless, he's still a politician in a country where dissent is still suppressed. But that's no reason to go to war with yet another country.

For a good look at how the world really works, check out the interview with whistleblower Sibel Edmonds in "The American Conservative." Though she has been under a gag order for years, much of her story has gotten out. Now that she has spoken out, the MSM is ignoring this detailed story that implicates high level neocons, congressman and the Chicago machine as well as the Israeli and Turkish lobbies.

For another look check out this interview with ex-Congressman James Traficant who just got through serving seven years in prison after being targeted by AIPAC. Israel dominates much of our media, Congress, domestic and foreign policy. How many of you have a knee-jerk reaction that we have to defend Israel at all times and for all reasons? Where did that come from? (Watch all 3 segments.)

The Federal Reserve has admitted to gold swap arrangements that result "in the surreptitious international central bank manipulation of the gold price particularly and the currency markets generally." Seems GATA has been right all along about gold price rigging. Those who have ears to hear will realize that the gold price has been kept artificially low for a long time. You know what that means? Ever try holding a basketball under water for a long time? Maybe it will hit $1500 before year-end. Certainly, if war breaks out with Iran.

Speaking of gold, housing prices have fallen by 2/3 since their 2005 peak -- if priced in gold. Worth thinking about: "Priced in gold, the median house bought 460 ounces of gold in 2001 and 490 ounces at the peak in 2005--a gain of 6%, considerably less than the nominal price in dollars. Had a homeowner eschewed the blandishments of the housing bubble in 2001 and sold his/her home for 460 ounces of gold and rented for eight years, he/she could now buy a home for 160 ounces of gold and have 300 ounces in hand."

More on the Russo-Georgian Conflict

Sorry. For unknown techinical reasons, all the urls for the hotlinks in the text have disappeared. No time to hunt them down again. Try Google!
I continue to be amazed to find myself taking the Russian side of a conflict. Having learned how to "duck and cover" in the early days of the Cold War, I never thought I'd side with the successor to the USSR. But the US-backed (if not instigated) Georgian attack on South Ossetia is just another NeoCon folly that brings us closer to the brink of war.

To sharpen my thinking, God has placed close friends in my life who put great faith in the veracity of the Mainstream Media. They really believe that Fox News is "fair and balanced." They fail to realize that Fox vs. "the liberal media" is just an extension of the false alternatives of liberal-conservative and Democrat-Republican that confuse thinking and really mask reality.

My credulous friends help me realize afresh that the American Mainstream Media is every bit as effective as Pravda was in the USSR, maybe more so. In the USSR most people understood that Pravda was putting out the party line and developed appropriate skepticism. In the US many people think that freedom and competition assure that we have courageous reporters risking everything to bring us the truth. Those who believe that don't understand the consolidation of media in multinational corporations and the compromises made by those journalists who grab the golden ring of celebrity status to become media stars.

Back to the Russo-Georgia situation: As usual, many astute observers provide more cogent analysis than I could. Patrick Buchanan exposes the hypocrisy of the Bush administration and the NeoCons. "How would we have reacted if Moscow had brought Western Europe into the Warsaw Pact, established bases in Mexico and Panama, put missile defense radars and rockets in Cuba, and joined with China to build pipelines to transfer Mexican and Venezuelan oil to Pacific ports for shipment to Asia? And cut us out? If there were Russian and Chinese advisers training Latin American armies, the way we are in the former Soviet republics, how would we react? Would we look with bemusement on such Russian behavior?"

Mike Whitney looks in depth at the geopolitics of the situation in "Putin Walks into a Trap." This amazing analysis talks extensively about Obama's chief foreign policy advisor, Zbigniew Brzensinski, and his role in this "Grand Chessboard" strategy. Evidently Putin is in the globalists' gun sites now because he gave a speech in Munich two years ago where "he declared unequivocally that he rejected the basic tenets of the Bush Doctrine and US global hegemony." Read the excerpts from Putin's speech and see what you think.

Whitney also gives us a glimpse of the refocus of the "war on terror" that will come if Obama wins the Presidency. Zbig and his crew will redirect America's war efforts into Eurasia. McCain and the NeoCons seem more likely to keep the focus on the Middle East. Given the Bush administration's actions, it looks more like "both/and" instead of "either/or" to me. An Obama administration will surely disappoint his anti-war supporters, offering "voters a choice of wars, not a choice against war."

Paul Craig Roberts wonders whether American actions will destroy the world. See also this excellent interview with him where he discusses the NeoCons desire to nuke Iran. Follow up with this report from South Ossetia from a retired Lt. Colonel from the US military. And this one gives more insight into how the NeoCon think tanks have been instrumental in backing Russia into a corner. Or this UK reporter or this one on the ground. Gold guru Jim Sinclair discusses some of the financial ramifications of the "Georgia debacle." I'd be remiss if I didn't call your attention to Justin Raimondo's continuing analysis of the situation.

If you saw the Olympics opening ceremonies, you saw President Bush at the stadium. What you probably didn't see were these pictures or these where he looks a little bit . . . well, I'll let you decide what you think. (This is the man who will decide if we start a war with Iran, or Russia, or Pakistan.)

Whether we shortly go to war or not, will we retain our freedoms? Paul Craig Roberts doesn't think so. Nor does Charley Reese. It's up to us, folks.

Starting a war to divert the public's attention from economic problems is an old tactic. That's happened to this blog for the last week. If you need a financial tsunami fix, read "Wag the Dog: How to Conceal Massive Economic Collapse." Perhaps our wise leaders are starting more wars to put the unemployed masses to work with a new military draft. It worked for FDR.

Impeachment or Jail for George W. Bush?

In case you had not heard it from your usual news sources, Rep. Dennis Kucinich filed articles of impeachment against President George Bush. Even though he narrowed the focus from 35 articles to one, the Democrat faction of the War Party doesn't want to upset their chances of getting back in power. So they've followed Nancy Pelosi's lead and sent the mattter to the Judiciary Committee to hold hearings -- but not for impeachment. Rep. John Conyers, the man who would give the go ahead to impeachment, continues to stall.

The Democrats have had two years with a Congressional majority to impeach Bush and end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. They continue to give Bush everything he needs in funding and spying authority to act at will. Perhaps they have a "secret plan" to end the Iraq war but can't implement until they have a Democrat President. I guess 70% of citizen opposition to the war is not enough support to give them a little bit of backbone!

Paul Craig Roberts notes that "
Little War Criminals Get Punished, Big Ones Don't." Bush, Cheney, Blair and the rest get free passes to murder, maim and destroy, while petty tyrants like Sudan’s president, Omar al-Bashir, gets faces charges from the UN's International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity and war crimes.

Vincent Bugliosi (the man who prosecuted Charles Manson), recently released a book that says
Bush should be behind bars. In The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder, he lays out his evidence outlining what questions he would ask Bush at a potential murder trial. He believes Bush should be charged with the murders of over 4,000 American soldiers who have died in Iraq since the American-led invasion of that country because of the strong evidence that Bush launched that invasion under false pretenses. Watch an interview with him here.

Ex CIA Analyst Ray McGovern says Iraq Prime Minister Maliki's
call for a timetable for the US to withdraw its troops from Iraq blows out another false reason for continuing the US presence. After all, we said we'd leave when they asked us to.

The rationale increases for Israel to attack Iran, provoke an incident, or even pull off one of their famous "
false flag" operations (like the Madrid train bombing?) to further entangle the US. McGovern concludes: "the Israelis are likely to be preparing a September/October surprise designed to keep the U.S. bogged down in Iraq and in the wider region by provoking hostilities with Iran."

Scott Ritter, the UN weapons inspector who correctly showed that Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction before the invasion, details the likely
disastrous consequences of an attack on Iran. He reminds us "that no plan survives initial contact with the enemy, and furthermore one can never forget that, in war, the enemy gets to vote." We should have learned that with Iraq, but the NeoCons controlling Bush are not part of the "reality-based community."

The NeoCons aren't too worried. Most have bought homes in Dubai and stashed their money in Swiss bank accounts. The Bush family purchased a 98,842 acre farm in Paraguay. Isn't that where Dr. Josef Mengele and other Nazi expatriates fled after World War II?

Pepe Escobar
deconstructs Obama's recent speech on foreign policy. The devil is always in the details, he says. Obama seems to favor keeping the current status quo in Iraq if it could be done with a continuing presence of 30,000 "residual" US troops. "Withdrawal it isn't. Is this 'change we can believe in', part of a new 'overarching strategy' - or is this the same status quo as defined by half a century of continuous, many would say imperial, US foreign interference?

In another matter, Joseph Farah of World Net Daily has caused quite a stir with his article on Obama's call for a "
civilian national security force." Holy Stasi, Batman!

In a July 2nd speech in Colorado Springs, Obama said: "We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded." Is this some kind of national police force as large and powerful as our military? The kind a police state might need? Farah goes on: "Certainly there have been initiatives like this elsewhere – Cuba, the Soviet Union, China, Venezuela, North Korea. But has anything like this ever been proposed in a free country?

The Obama campaign would not return calls to Farah. Nor,
he reports, have they posted a transcript of the speech on their web site. These lines were excluded from a special transcript he sent to the Wall Street Journal and Denver Post. But the lines are there, about 16:30 into a video of the speech on YouTube.

We don't know exactly what Obama meant by this remark, but it was delivered in a polished, practiced way. A new national police force is just what an emerging fascist government needs. Let's look for a little clarification in the future.

And we know McCain is ready for a hundred year presence and is ready to "bomb, bomb, bomb Iran."

McBama OCain for President!

War with Iran Not Inevitable

If you've been following my blog, you know I think a war with Iran would have disastrous consequences for America. Our financial and military are both stretched to the breaking point, and the economy is stagnating into what could easily become a depression. The many estimates of dire consequences of an Iranian response (one writer calls it "the perfect storm from hell") would only worsen these conditions.

The good news is that the forces lining up against the Cheney-NeoCon-Israeli coalition for war with Iran may be getting the upper hand. Tom Englehardt makes a good case "Why Cheney Won't Take Down Iran." Justin Raimondo at AntiWar.com also sees signs the tide might be turning against the War Party.

U.S. Navy Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff as well as Defense Secretary Robert Gates are said to oppose an attack on Iran. Gates reportedly told Democratic Senators last year that it would "create generations of jihadists and our grandchildren will be battling our enemies here in America." One observer thinks that the threat of higher oil prices due to an Iranian war has Bush and the Republicans "over a barrel," creating a huge problem for John McCain in November.

On the other side is what Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, a former Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury under Reagan, calls "a totally lawless regime" that is hell-bent on getting its way, regardless of what the American people want. Meanwhile, the virtual declaration of war with Iran if House Joint Resolution 362 and Senate Resolution 580 pass is still a threat. So far there has been no vote on either. To their credit, Rep. Tom Cole, Sen. Coburn and Sen. Infofe stand alone among the Oklahoma delegation as not having signed on as co-sponsors.

So while I am more hopeful than when I first addressed this issue almost two weeks ago, we need to remember Yogi Berra's famous words: "It ain't over till it's over." If you haven't called your Congressman and Senators yet about these resolutions, register your opinion today. And pray that if there is any shred of decency left in the leaders of the Bush administration, that they will spare the world and our posterity the all-too-likely horrors of unleashing their war plans on Iran.

Act Now to Stop the War Against Iran

If you limit your news sources to the Lame Stream Media, you probably don’t realize how hard the NeoCons and Israel Lobby are pushing war with Iran. Former CIA intelligence analyst Ray McGovern makes a strong case that the US and Israel are gearing up to attack Iran before Cheney-Bush leave power in January. Read it here and see what you think. Pat Buchanan points out that the American people are not even being included in the debate.

Also, read today’s previous post, an article by Joel Skousen on “
The Iran Factor in US Elections.” He quotes Insiders saying the Iran war is a done deal, with only the timing and provocation still to be decided. With the ostensibly (but not really) anti-war Obama leading McCain in the polls, the NeoCons need this war to keep the Republicans in power.

The Senate Intelligence Committee in early June concluded in an under-reported study that Cheney-Bush-Rumsfeld et al. continually made their case for the Iraq war with intelligence that was “unsubstantiated, contradicted or even non-existent” leading the American people that the Iraq threat “was much greater than existed.” The same people, using the same techniques, are being used to scare Americans into attacking Iran. You’ve got to read McGovern’s article to see how near we are to war.

The difference this time is that no one is claiming that a war with Iran will be a “cakewalk,” and no one believes we will be greeted as liberators. As McGovern says: “Unlike Iraq, which was prostrate after the Gulf War and a dozen years of sanctions, Iran can retaliate in a number of dangerous ways, launching a war for which our forces are ill-prepared. The lethality, intensity and breadth of ensuing hostilities will make the violence in Iraq look, in comparison, like a volleyball game between St. Helena's High School and Mount St. Ursula.”

A number of scenarios about the consequences of a war with Iran, such as this and this from the Christian Science Monitor, ought to make even the most ardent hawk re-think this insane idea. Some even think an Iranian attack might trigger the “Sampson Option” for Bush, making the Middle East a trigger for World War III.

In an article about the current covert operations designed to destabilize Iran, Seymour Hersh quotes Defense Secretary Gates that if the Bush Administration stages a preemptive strike on Iran, “We’ll create generations of jihadists, and our grandchildren will be battling our enemies here in America.”

Please watch the video of Ron Paul’s warning about the proposed Iranian attack in Congress on June 26. He summarizes the war-like actions toward Iran that the US would take if Rep. Gary Ackerman’s (D-NY) House Joint Resolution 362 is passed and enacted by the Congress after the July 4th recess. The resulting naval blockade will likely trigger a war. Senator Evan Bayh (D-IN) introduced a similar Resolution 580 in the Senate.

These resolutions are a top priority of AIPAC and are eerily reminiscent of the plan enacted by FDR in 1940 that provoked the Japanese into attacking Pearl Harbor, triggering our entry into World War II.

If you want higher oil prices, more inflation, more recession, more unemployment, more loss of world reputation, more police state measures at home, more military deaths and maimings, then you’ll like this war.

If you are against this new war, you must call your Congressman and Senator and register your opposition. And if you think that surely this can’t be happening because the Democrats control Congress, and they were given a majority in 2006 because they would stop the war, then you are sadly mistaken. Notice both authors are Democrats. And Ron Paul recently revealed how House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in 2006 spiked a provision from a spending bill that would require a vote by Congress before the President could attack Iran. She did it at the behest of Israeli leadership and AIPAC.

You can see if your Congressional Rep is a cosponsor here, and if your Senator is, here. Notice the long list of Democrat co-sponsors. Not very anti-war, are they? That shows why the Israeli lobby is probably the most powerful in Washington. Unfortunately, Oklahoma’s Dan Boren, John Sullivan, Mary Fallin and Frank Lucas are cosponsors. To their credit (at the time of this posting) not listed as co-sponsors are: Tom Cole, Jim Inhofe and Tom Coburn.

Please call your Congressman and Senator and register your opposition this week. You can also easily send and email by going to this site.

Totalitarian Republican Convention in Minnesota

Here's a report on last weekend's state Republican convention in Minnesota. Just as they did in Oklahoma, the Minnesota GOP "leadership" railroaded the convention. Not only did they cancel the meeting room for Ron Paul to address the convention, but they controlled the convention agenda so tightly that hardly a peep was heard from Ron Paul or his supporters.

The last thing the GOP wants is to be reminded of how far they've strayed from their heritage of Constitutionally limited government. The Neocon mentality has taken hold in most all the party "leaders."

If you still have any illusions about the GOP being a party of the grassroots dedicated to the ideals of individual liberty, it is time to abandon them. The GOP has become a party of hypocrites, buttressed by the hollow rhetoric of liberty. I've known some of the party leaders when they were more dedicated to liberty. It is sad to see how they've abandoned their principles out of dedication to Party.

Oklahoma Family Policy Council Pushes NeoCon Agenda

The Oklahoma Family Policy Council appears to be a major supporter of the Neoconservative agenda in Oklahoma. Recent publications from OFPC and communication with the two people most responsible for its views lead me to this conclusion. I'm publishing these thoughts in hopes that other OFPC supporters who agree with me that they have expanded their mission beyond promoting and protecting Oklahoma families will express their views with Mike Jestes, the Executive Director, in hopes of encouraging them to keep their focus on the mission so many of us have supported previously.

I’ve been a long-time supporter of most of what OFPC has done since its inception. Indeed, I’ve directed substantial monetary contributions their way. Having started and run a state-level public policy institute myself in the 1999, I’m a big supporter of the whole idea.

But over the last two years I’ve noticed some disturbing advocacy that goes beyond their stated mission “to strengthen families, to educate Oklahomans on public policy as it impacts the family, to encourage responsible citizenship, to restore traditional, Judeo-Christian principles in American public policy, and to create a healthy, "family-friendly" culture in Oklahoma. http://www.okfamilypc.org/about_ofpc.htm

Specifically, the OFPC has taken positions supporting the war against Iraq as well as cooperating in an effort to build Christian support for the State of Israel. Whether one agrees with their positions, these issues are clearly beyond the scope of building and protecting families in Oklahoma.

I expressed my concerns in emails and in person to both Mike Jestes, the Executive Director, and David Dunn, Research Director, most recently responding to their May 22 newsletter. Specifically, I was questioning and objecting to the inclusion of a news item that mentioned the US House of Representatives rejecting some funding for the wars with, and occupations of, Iraq and Afghanistan. Moreover, they re-cycled information whose clear intent was to minimize the negative impact these wars are having on our economy.

David Dunn’s response, while gracious, denied taking a position on the wars (then why publish information about a war funding amendment that failed, along with the gratuitous information that Mary Fallin voted for it?). I’m not publishing Dunn’s letter since I have not asked for his permission, but I’ll certainly let him submit it or anything else in response to this posting.

Dunn also brought up their upcoming support for an event to honor Israel. I thought he meant previous events, but their June 5 newsletter has a big announcement about the June 29 “Night to Honor Israel.” After my previous email (posted below), I was floored to see this. But obviously, OFPC has made some kind of alliance with John Hagee’s Christians United for Israel http://www.cufi.org/. (CUFI appears to be a Christaian fundamentalist counterpart to AIPAC, the influential Israeli lobby that saw McCain, Obama and Clinton groveling before them last week to see who could be the most belligerent toward Iran.)

Not only does showing “support” for any state or country have nothing whatsoever to do with strengthening families, by so doing OFPC is using their credibility built up over 18 years to make uninformed Christians think they should also be supporting the State of Israel. To me that is a fraudulent misuse of their good name that helps keep Christians deceived into supporting the State of Israel. Moreover, coupled with their support of the Middle Eastern wars, helps persuade Christians there is something “Christian” about supporting the Neoconservative agenda. And the Neoconservatives are becoming more and more well known for hijacking the Republican Party to promote an agenda that flies in the face of the US Constitution and American tradition. See the articles below:

What Became of Conservatives? – Paul Craig Roberts
“Conservatives have been won around to the old liberal view that as long as government power is in their hands, there is no reason to fear it or to limit it. Thus, the Patriot Act . . . Thus, preemptive war. . . There is nothing conservative about these positions. To label them conservative is to make the same error as labeling the 1930s German Brown shirts conservative.”
http://snipurl.com/awu9

We’ve Been Neo-Conned – Rep. Ron Paul, MD
The most pro-liberty Member of Congress provides a comprehensive look at how the Neocons co-opted the modern-day, limited government movement.
http://snipurl.com/aeg1

Neocon Perfidy – Paul Craig Roberts
A review of Pat Buchanan’s book, “Where the Right Went Wrong.”
“The neocons have declared America at war with 1 billion Muslims who have done us no harm. Simultaneously, the neocons destroyed our traditional alliances. Instead of isolating a terrorist enemy, neocons have isolated America.”
http://snipurl.com/aefv

Now for the text of my email to OFPC, slightly edited for publication:

“Being quite familiar with the methods of influencing people in the culture wars, I find your protests of innocence about the benign effects of including "informational" pieces about Israel and the Iraq war more than a little bit disingenuous. As anyone familiar with media knows, the inclusion or exclusion of anything in a piece of work is (or should be) done with careful thought as to the impact on the consumer of the media.

OFPC has built a lot of credibility, and deservedly so, with Oklahomans for its extensive work on pro-family issues over the years. Indeed, I've previously directed thousands of dollars toward support of your activities. But to use that credibility to promote non-family issues, especially those that can be argued are destructive of families, is a breach of the trust given by those who have supported you in the past.

The case in point: one would be hard pressed to argue that a strong national defense is not essential to the security necessary to raise families in peace and to preserve prosperity. However, support for the Iraq war does not follow from this premise. It can easily, and effectively, be argued that the Iraq war is destructive of those ends, not just for American families, but also for those families throughout the Middle East. Only a GOP partisan in complete denial would today take the position that the war was not promoted on lies and deception.

The Iraq invasion was uncalled for, against American tradition and Christian "just war" theory, and has resulted in untold misery, death and destruction in Iraq. If we were to put a halt to it today, the unknown future consequences in that area, as well as for the United States, are still quite unpredictable. I understand the desire for revenge and justice can persist for many generations in the Islamic culture, and we've given millions of Muslims reason for revenge. Moreover, the war's estimated total costs will be $3-5 Trillion, not to mention over 4,000 families shattered by unnecessary deaths, tens of thousands by unnecessary maimings, roaring inflation which will drastically lower FAMILY living standards, and helped erect a police state." Not very pro-family, is it?

Senator Coburn's article, which you referenced, merely echoed an email circulating the internet for months. The whole purpose is to minimize, rationalize and justify the costs of the war.

Of course Federal spending is out of control and financial collapse is in America's future, maybe quite near future. The unfunded liabilities of our social programs assure that. But to say that eliminating earmarks could pay for the war, while true, is still a way to rationalize something that is destructive of families.

And what place does the preceding snippet about "the House rejected an amendment to the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Act" have to do with "family" policy? What possible reason can there be to add those two paragraphs, including the extraneous information that Mary Fallin supported the amendment, if OFPC were not supporting funding for extension of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan (and for Mary Fallin)? Inclusion of that information sticks out like a sore thumb.

The other item you brought up is also extraneous to family policy. That is the promotion of pro-Israel events. I am well aware of the well-honed propaganda campaign to bind the state of Israel and the United States at the hip. Indeed, that is one of the major complaints against us in the Islamic world.

I could write for hours about this, but I won't. Suffice it to say that you are again mis-using your credibility by furthering the notion that God-fearing, Christian conservative, pro-family people should as part of their world view be supporting the state of Israel. I don't recall your announcing events to "honor" other nations around the world. Christian Zionism is a theological error embraced by far too many Christians who mistakenly equate the creation of the Israeli state in 1948 with the promises of God to Israel, and "those who bless Israel," in the Bible. As one who was saved in a prophecy seminar, I came later to realize that the Church is the heir of the blessings formerly reserved for Israel, and IS spiritual Israel. IT is a common mis-application of scripture to apply those promises to the modern State of Israel.

To propagate Christian Zionism is worse than taking the "blue pill." You are dispensing the "blue pill" and keeping Christians in bondage to this deception. I worked through this theologically long ago, and have studied the propagation and political agenda behind these ideas as a side interest since then. The recent studies about the "Israel lobby" have confirmed this. In fact, support for Israel has become, in my opinion, the new "third rail" of politics.

I've read about the current national campaign to buttress and build support for Israel. So when OFPC started pushing events to "honor Israel" I responded quickly. Sorry, your protests of innocence about what you are doing sound a little bit too hollow. After all, you're in the business of influencing public opinion, aren't you?

Support for the state of Israel and endless wars and domination of the Middle East are at the core of the NeoCon agenda. The NeoCons have taken over the GOP and hijacked American foreign policy. Christians, duped into supporting the state of Israel because of bad theology and incessant propaganda, and terrorized into supporting a "war against terror," are the base of the NeoCons support. The OFPC has played its part in keeping this base intact. The NeoCon agenda is ultimately destructive of Constitutional freedom and the United States, and therefore, destructive of American families.

As long as you participate in promoting an agenda and worldview that are ultimately anti-family, I can no longer support the OFPC.

If you want to get together and discuss any of the issues I've raised, I'll be happy to make the time for you.

Sincerely,

Porter Davis”
